Homeschooling
The Stewarts have been called pioneers in the modern homeschooling movement. They began teaching their three children in 1981, when few people had heard of the idea, the legality of homeschooling was in question, and resources were few.
Even though Bob and Susan’s youngest child graduated in 2000, they have continued on encouraging and mentoring younger homeschoolers. They’ve also have had the privilege of helping to homeschool two of their five grandchildren.
Speaking
Susan has been speaking at conferences and individual groups for nearly twenty years. Her practical workshops inspire and encouraged new and veteran homeschoolers.
